Samsung Electronics is expected to consolidate its leading position in the global DRAM market.<br />According to a recent report from IHS Markit on Wednesday,… Samsung Electronics is projected to account for 47% of global DRAM marketshare in the third quarter of this year, up from 43% in the second quarter.<br />The tech giant has seen its market share gradually increase over the first two quarters of the year, and it's third-quarter projections will only increase its lead over second-placed SK hynix.<br />Samsung Electronics is also expected to maintain its leading position in NAND flash-memory chips with 39% of global market share in the third quarter of this year.<br />
